WHAT WE DO:

C-Zero has partnered with UK projects within the official frameworks of the Woodland Carbon Code and Peatland Code. 

We can also offer offsetting opportunities overseas with the VERRA Register (Verified Carbon Standard) or United Nations (UNFCCC-CDM) quality marks.

In the international market, we have access to credible and approved projects that can provide Offset Units and a grander scale than the smaller UK market.

UK CARBON OFFSETTING

Approval of carbon offsetting projects in the United Kingdom come under two frameworks:

All projects entail either afforestation or peatland restoration respectively and support the UN’s Paris Agreement targets.

INTERNATIONAL CARBON OFFSETS

C-Zero has access to carbon offset projects throughout the world.

Most of these projects relate to the Developing World.  Renewables, forest protection, tree planting, and community initiatives create these units.

In these markets, transparency and verification are key. The C-Zero team has multi-years of experience in managing this process.

FOR THOSE REQUIRING CARBON OFFSETS:
  • C-Zero can introduce projects from a diverse mix of UK woodland and peatland.
  • Add additional value through projects context and ``narrative``: biodiversity and landscape conservation merits.
  • Structure the sale of Offset Units: agree price, delivery, and tenors.
  • If required, provide a blended solution that meets your budget and output requirements.
